Web Design Trends 2026

 Who can say what we will see in web designs in 2026? No one really. 

Of course, the predictions for 2026 are based on what was seen in 2025, so I always think things will emerge in the new year that no one thought about or used in the previous year.

My own designs are far simpler and more economical because that is what my clients want. I gave up on taking on complicated store and conference websites years ago. I also prefer to create sites that an average user can do their own updates, though we know that some people can't even make simple updates on a website.

Here are 3 takes on trends. Watch the first few minutes of any of them (and there are many more online) and you'll get a sense of whether or not your own design process and style mesh with their predictions.

This first one says up front that while AI is popular for graphics design and UIand UX, the speaker still prefers web designs that are handcrafted and focus on interactions.
