I am very selective in my web design projects. I prefer to work with individuals and nonprofits to build attractive, but low cost sites that, when feasible, can be maintained afterwards by the client.
I follow the latest Web standards and can incorporate social media and blogging capabilities into a site.
I will designs using popular free web services such as Wordpress or Blogger, so that a client can have the freedom to do their own updates without requiring additional paid services or extensive web design skills.
And I build sites using paid services, such as Squarespace, when the client has more of a budget or needs more sophisticated features, like a store.
